Tennessee is a horse that Bobby Hill befriended in "A Rover Runs Through It". He sampled a taste of Bobby's candy, and liked it. As Bobby was grooming Tennessee, Peggy Hill told Bobby it was time to go home, but instead, seeing that Bobby and Tennessee have bonded, Peggy asks Bobby if he cleaned Tennessee's hooves, deciding they should stay after all. Bobby then practiced horseback riding and calf roping with Tennessee. Bobby and Tennessee were with Peggy at the cattle drive, and when Bobby shouted "Stampede!", Tennessee and Bobby herded the cattle through the town. In the end of the episode, he and Bobby were seen on a cliff, watching over the cattle.
