History[]

Season 5[]

When Peggy volunteered to set up a U.S. Presidential Election voting booth in her own garage at her house, she received Mrs. Fedder's help to manage the booth on Election Day in 2000. On the day of the general election, Fedder told Peggy that her watch said 7:01 a.m. in contrast to Peggy's 7 on the dot. At that point, Peggy opened the first garage door using her clicker, but Fedder stubbornly waited to open the other garage several seconds later because of their time discrepancy. Seeing Bill Dauterive as the first voter to arrive, she guided him to the voting area and then offered him some of the cookies that Peggy baked the previous night. Later, at the end of the voting period, Hank returned home so that he could cast his vote after initially stating that he would not vote at all. Peggy warned her husband that he had one minute left, but Fedder claimed that she had two minutes left according to her watch. Nonetheless, Hank and Luanne cast their votes before the time ran out.
