Minh Souphanousinphone is the wife of Kahn Souphanousinphone and mother of Connie Souphanousinphone. She is often in charge of taking care of the house and Connie.

When she was young, Minh was arranged to date and marry a student that her father had chosen, but instead had gone out with Kahn, as he was rebellious. When the two soon moved to Arlen, Minh has a more positive outlook on her neighbors than does Kahn, though she still labels and stereotypes the neighborhood as being "redneck" or "hillbilly". While Kahn is at work, Minh is the housewife who takes care of Connie and the house, and prefers to do the work herself, rather than others, as seen with her conflict with Kahn's mother. Although Peggy is considered to be her rival, she, Nancy and Peggy occasionally are seen enjoying their time together and are involved in many issues that the three work together, such as saving after school programs.
Aside from her duties as a housewife, Minh is talented in marksmanship in which would inevitably have her become a member of Nine Rivers Country Club, as a member of the skeet shooting team. The country club is one of the many things Kahn and Minh envy. Minh also is often involved in making side-money by becoming involved with stocks. She taught Bobby Laotian (Southern dialect) to make money while Kahn was out of work. ("De-Kahnstructing Henry") Minh also enjoys playing Mahjong; she challenges Peggy to a game after losing $13 to her at Boggle.
In seen as the episode "Accidental Terrorist" in which Hank spends sticker price on all of the cars he has bought, it is discovered that Minh once had an affair. Peggy says she can use it against Minh if she tells Hank he's being ripped off.
