History[]

Season 7[]

One day while hanging outside the school as classes were dismissed, Jake leaned his back against the wall as he, Steve and Dave glared at students walking past them. When Joseph Gribble and Bobby Hill walked past them, Steve yelled at them to come to them. Only Joseph decided to join them, so the boys walked home to Joseph's house and knocked down trash cans along the way. Seeing Hank Hill stare at them, the kids glared back at him, with Jake laughing at Steve's comeback toward Hank. Jake with his friends and Joseph then continued cutting school, and they eventually made a plan to trespass into the Heimlich County Zoo and paint their names on the pandas after putting the bears to sleep.

On the night of the planned prank, Joseph and his father Dale had already broken apart the zoo gate, allowing the boys to enter. As they walked to the panda exhibit, Jake saw Joseph aiming a bow and arrow at one of the pandas to kill it, impressing him. Carrying a video camera and encouraging Joseph to kill the panda, Jake advised Joseph to wait a second so that he could get him in focus. To the truants' dismay, John Redcorn arrived just in time to stop the killing, persuading Joseph to abandon his plan to impress the "cool kids". Jake booed them for their interruption, but he and his two friends left once Hank threatened to call the police on them.
