Violetta was a single woman, a member of the Dauterive Family, and the cousin of Bill and Gilbert Dauterive.

Violetta was a young adult woman with a skinny build, shoulder-length brown hair, and pale skin. She frequently wore a purple spaghetti-strapped dress with a violet stole.

Season 4[]
Violetta lived in Louisiana in a big house left behind by the Dauterive family. She, along with the widows of her two brothers, greeted Bill and the Hill Family when they visited. During the vacation, Violetta, like her sister-in-laws, enjoyed Bill's dancing when he performed with Gilbert. One night after her sister-in-laws attempted to sleep with Bill, Violetta woke up Bill to persuade him to sleep with her despite knowing that she and Bill were related by blood. Although Bill asked her if she was his cousin, she tried to ignore his question, but both Lily and Rose interrupted them and warned Bill that Violetta was his blood cousin. Rebuffing their accusation and claiming that Lily and Rose were his cousins, she physically fought and wrestled with the two women until the silent Gilbert confirmed as a third witness that Violetta was truly Bill's cousin. Angry with his corroboration, Violetta hissed at Gilbert, who in turn hissed at Violetta as she left the bedroom.[1]

Much later on a visit to Bill's home in Arlen, Gilbert revealed to Bill that Violetta had died suddenly in her sleep sometime earlier.[2]
