Charles Edward Daniels (October 28, 1936 – July 6, 2020) was an American singer, musician, and songwriter. He appeared as a guest star and voiced himself in the Season 4 episode "Peggy's Fan Fair" and in the Season 6 episode "The Bluegrass is Always Greener".

Season 4[]
In "Peggy's Fan Fair" when Hank Hill visited the Fan Fair in Nashville, he was surprised to see Charlie Daniels standing in line at a food stand. Hearing him, Daniels invited Hank to cut in line behind him and asked him what he wanted to order. Hank asked for an Alamo Beer, so Daniels ordered the beer and, to Hank's bafflement, he asked Hank to pay the money for his beer.
Season 6[]
In "The Bluegrass is Always Greener" at the Downtown Branson 15th Annual Old Time Fiddle Contest, Charlie Daniels was one of many musicians in attendance. As he walked around, he met Dale Gribble, who asked Daniels to perform for The Dale Gribble Bluegrass Experience because the 13-year-old violinist, Connie Souphanousinphone, wanted to see him. Going near the stage as it was time for Dale's band to perform, Daniels asked where the young girl was, surprising Bill and Boomhauer. Lying to Daniels, Dale claimed that Connie had passed away recently but clarified that her last wish was to see Daniels play on stage with the band. When Dale asked him what he would tell Connie's parents, Daniels held in his tears and replied to "Tell them I'll play 'til my fiddle catches fire." Subsequently, Daniels used his own violin and performed with the group, earning a great round of applause from the audience. Happy about their own performance, Dale congratulated Daniels to the audience and said "Connie Souphanousinphone, everyone! She's only 13!", confusing Daniels. He then watched Dale get immediately arrested by security for handcuffing and pepper spraying Yakov Smirnoff earlier.
